COMPETITION – WINTER HAUNTS RETURNS FOR 2023!

After a successful first running last years, WINTER HAUNTS is back for 2023, presenting a packed online day of workshops, talks and interviews with some of the most exciting names in ghost stories, Gothic and supernatural fiction! The event takes place on the 11^th November from 10am-7:15pm, and runs in collaboration with Writing Magazine.

Our interview and panel thread includes exciting talent such as Mariana Enriquez (Our Share of Night, Things We Lost in the Fire), Catriona Ward (Sundial, The Last House on Needless Street), Alix E Harrow (Starling House, The Once and Future Witches), Tananarive Due (The Reformatory, Ghost Summer) Rosie Andrews (The Leviathan), Stuart Turton (The Seven Death of Evelyn Hardcastle, The Devil and the Dark Water), Jess Kidd (Things in Jars, The Night Ship) and many more.

Our workshop thread features a series of insightful creative sessions to develop new writing and expand your technique and skillset, featuring talent such as Anna Mazzola (The House of Whispers), Ally Wilkes (All the White Spaces, Where the Dead Wait), Carly Reagon (The Toll House), AC Wise (Hooked, Wendy, Darling) and more.
