Half-O-Ween, a brand-new horror dark comedy from Hawthorne House Films and Barton Ct. Productions 

SYNOPSIS: Camille White, horror enthusiast and lover of all things macabre, just broke up with her boyfriend, Jeremy. Correction: Jeremy unceremoniously dumped Cam after three years together. To pour salt in the wound, he chooses the night of Cadaver Carl’s Half-O-Ween Double Feature, a hallowed holiday in Cam’s book, to do it. What’s more, her nosy landlords, the haughty Winnie Thomas-Stratton and her horn-dog husband Vern, barge in halfway through their breakup. The reason? An infamous serial killer known as Eddie “The Maniac” Mangas escaped from a transport bus en route to the asylum for the criminally insane. With a shelter-in-place order in effect, Winnie and Vern figured safety in numbers, so now Cam’s stuck with her fresh ex and obnoxious landlords while a maniac murderer runs loose. Needled by her unbidden guests, enraged at the sight of her ex, lost and lonely in a world that seems never to understand her, Cam might just prefer the company of a violent and deranged lunatic.

Half-O-Ween is a suspenseful, darkly comedic take on the slasher formula, blending interpersonal chaos with classic horror thrills. It’s a dose of spooky season to escape the summer heat.

ABOUT THE PROJECT: Hawthorne House Films and Barton Ct. Productions are excited to announce that horror icon Felissa Rose has joined the cast. Felissa has a career spanning dozens of beloved and modern horror films. Her extensive experience and undeniable screen presence solidifies Felissa as one of the genre’s most recognizable and respected talents. With Felissa on board, this film takes another thrilling step forward in blending nostalgic terror with outrageous humor, promising an experience that will be a must-see for genre fans.

From director Stephen Wolfe (Doll Factory, Dracula’s Coffin) writer Mike McPherson (10/31 Part 2), and producers Tim Robinson (Dracula’s Coffin) and P.J. Starks (New Fears Eve, 13 Slays Till X-Mas). Half-O-Ween will be filmed in the Los Angeles area. Special effects will be handled by Little Shop of Gore FX’s Ryan and Salina Ward (Terrifier 3).

Half-O-Ween features a thrilling cast including Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp, Terrifier 2), Lestonja Diaz (Out of Body, Resurrektor), Tim Robinson (10/31 Part 2), Sara Gaston (To Catch a Killer), Joe Grisaffi (Stranger Things), Joshua Kennedy (House of the Gorgon), Josh Spiegel (The Last Amityville Movie), and Xavier Flores (Doll Factory) as the crazed maniac, Eddie Mangas.
