Overall, I found the book to be one that deserves a place on my shelf with all my other puzzle books. Even if I can’t get the answers right now, I will always come back to the book and try again. This isn’t a puzzle book to finish in a month. It will take time and patience. I highly recommend this for puzzlers who want to level up their word-work.

Mind Game Challenge by Lselie Blckbird (Yes, this is how you spell their name! A tribute to the style of puzzles within this book).
Let me first say, the cover is amazing. If you get a chance, look at the details on this cover!
The prologue is quite amazing. In a unique and entertaining style, It details the type of puzzles ready to be solved by the best puzzlers of all time. The really cool thing about this book is that, once you have completed all the puzzles and have all the correct answers, you can email the author to receive a badge to share with the world!
The 120 puzzles range from easy to incredibly difficult. They truly make your brain work hard in some of them. The back of the book has the directions for each of the types of puzzles, but if you just want a hint, there is a section of clues to the puzzles at the back of the book as well. Some of the puzzles are Vanished Vowels, Catastrophic Chaos, Silly Syllables, and Math Myth, just to name a few. There are quite a few more.
As a word nerd and lover of puzzles, this book is exactly what I look for in my puzzle books. Some are easy puzzles, and some that really make my brain work harder. The more difficult the puzzle, the more my brain muscle gets its daily exercise. And let me say, some of these are NOT easy!
For example, one section of puzzles is to rearrange words to form common and uncommon quotes or sentences. At the end of each chapter, there is a boss level you gotta finish before going on to the next chapter. The boss levels are indeed some of the most difficult puzzles I have come across.
One of my favourite types of puzzles is in this book: rearranging letters to form words. This book takes it one step further; once you have unscrambled the letters, you then need to form the sentence that this set of words makes. This is so much harder than you could imagine.
