Award-winning author, curator, and educator Kristen J. Sollée is launching FERAL EYE, a hybrid publisher that will publish both fiction and non-fiction, anthologies, and more, via traditional routes as well as selling beautiful Collector’s Editions and exclusive, expertly designed products directly via the website.
Over the past decade, Kristen’s critically acclaimed non-fiction writing has made her a leading voice in feminist occult discourse. Her first book, Witches, Sluts, Feminists, was chosen by the New York Public Library as one of its Essential Reads on Feminism for Adults.
She brings her experience in the arcane and the uncanny to FERAL EYE. ‘Most people’s first exposure to magic, witchcraft, and the occult is through fiction’ says Sollée. ‘But that’s often where their explorations end. I founded FERAL EYE to publish works that bridge the gap between the fantasy and reality of magic, witchcraft, and the occult. As a practicing witch and writer of both occult fiction and non-fiction, I know how transformative both forms can be. Their potency is even greater when in dialogue with each other.’
Kristen’s debut adult horror novel will be the first title to launch later this year, and will appeal to readers of Leigh Bardugo, Rachel Harrison, V.E. Schwab, and Anne Rice.
